Can't Make A Service?

While there’s nothing like being here on a Sunday morning and being able to actively participate in the life of the church - the worship, reading and hearing God’s Word, gathering with friends before and after the service – there are times when we just can’t make it.

Sometimes we’re not feeling well…sometimes we’re out of town.   I know that when I go away on vacation and Sunday morning rolls around…my thoughts often go in the direction of FFC, wondering how things are going and a part of me wishing I could be there.

Now there’s a way for all of us to take in a service even when we can’t be there in person. We are now “Live Streaming” the 9:30 service.   This means that you can actually watch the service “live” on your computer by going to this web address:

ffbiclive.org

In fact if you are at your computer and you go there now, you will see that there is no live streaming going on at this time, however there is a tab near the top of the page where you can click “replay” and watch last Sunday’s 9:30 Service in order to get an idea of what it will look like.

Then, any Sunday morning in the future that you can’t be here, just go to the link above at 9:30 and watch the service live.

Thanks to Kyle Fleagle and Chance Reecher who are responsible for making this happen.

Video Streaming Broken

The latest update to Adobe Flash Player has broken the streaming video functionality on the site. Until this problem is resolved, you can view the sermon videos on the Five Forks Church page on Vimeo.

Online Documents are Back

We've been working recently on tightening the security of the web site against the possibility of hacking. Nothing can make a web site completely secure, but we want to take whatever reasonable measures we can. Until yesterday, all of the changes have worked smoothly and gone essentially unnoticed. However, a change that was made yesterday inadvertently blocked access to the files in the Online Documents section under the Resources menu. This problem has been corrected, and you now should be able to access all of the online documents successfully. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration that this issue might have caused.
