Ministries

Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. - Romans 12:4-5

The Church—the Body of Christ—is like the human body: the fully integrated unity of dissimilar parts. As Christians, we are a mish-mashed collection of individuals working together to fulfill the command of Jesus Christ to love God and our neighbors. The various ministries at Five Forks Church serve to educate, equip, and unify us in our goal.

On a most basic level, the ministries are grouped by age group: children, youth, and adults. Within these groups, there is a diverse assortment of ministries and activities to appeal to and meet the needs of people in all circumstances and seasons of life. We want to serve Christ and each other where we're at, using the unique gifts and differences that He uses to build His Body.
