Last evening the Chapel and Chapel Wing were filled to capacity as the Jamaica Team gave their presentation from their recent missions trip.
The evening began with Pastor Shaun helping us to experience “the sounds of Jamaica.” He divided the crowd into 4 groups and had each one be responsible for one of the four most common sounds they heard while in Jamaica (cars beeping and dogs barking for example). Everyone got into it and the room was filled with sound, followed by much laughter.
Many of the youth came forward and shared their special experiences, such as leading some to Jesus, Living Arrangements. Painting, VBS, Prayer Walks and the Culture of Jamaica. We also heard from Shaun about the trip home which turned out to be quite a challenge.
