Sermon Series: The Gospel According to Daniel

We’ve made it through the first 6 chapters of Daniel which contain the familiar names, places and stories: Nebuchadnezzar…Babylon…Lion’s Den…Fiery Furnace.

As we prepare to study the final 6 chapters, we move into what has been described as “The Dangerous Part of the Book” because we move into the apocalyptic section of Daniel.

This Sunday Pastor Bill brings the message from Daniel 7 in the Auditorium – Two Courtroom Scenes – and we’ll be reading about 4 beasts, one of which Daniel describes as terrifying, frightening and very powerful. We’ll find ourselves in a courtroom where “a little horn” is going to be judged. And we’ll hear about the work of “one like a son of man.”

The words and imagery may appear challenging…but if we come and receive what the Lord has for us, we’ll leave grateful that we are a part of His incredible story.

Pastor Ray brings the message – The Rhythm of the Broom – in the Chapel service at 11:00. Ray will challenge us to listen to God’s call to trust and live.
